Seer

Seers (天机师) are skilled in divination. Using special methods, they are able to foresee the events that would happen in the near future and then make preparations for it in advance. This occupation exists only in the legends. The divination only allows one to foresee the rough outline of affairs that is about to happen. According to the ratio stated in the books, out of billions of cultivators, there might not even be a single seer. Given the absurd rarity of the occupation, nearly no one has ever seen a seer.

Since Seers peer into the secrets of the Heavens, they would be struck by Heavenly punishment if their existence gets seen by the Heavens. This is why they set up many formations to block the all seeing eye of the Heavens.

Trivia

• Zhang Xuan is unable to become or learn to become a Seer. If he were to attempt to open the Library of Heaven's Path in any Seer Guild, the Seer Guild would face immediate punishment by the Heaven's and the Library of Heaven's Path would get a little bit better as a reward from the Heaven's.
• Zhang Xuan is unable to be peered into by Seers since he has the Library of Heaven's Path.
• Kong Shi is unable to be peered into by Seers since he has Heaven's Order.
• Luo Ruoxin is unable to be peered into by Seers since she has Heaven's Nature.
